MAD Magazine
What, Us Worry? Well, yes, unfortunately. We regret to announce that there will be no 2011 Vintage MAD calendar this year. However, we remain hopeful that this unique series will return for the 2012 calendar year. In 1952, publisher William M. Gaines transmogrified an entire generation of readers with the launch of MAD. “For many, MAD represented an introduction to the world of humor and satire. It dared readers to question authority, to look for the hidden agenda in what was being told to them, whether it be from their parents, their teachers, TV, advertisements or even magazines.” —John Ficarra, editor, MAD Magazine. Read his full introduction inside this calendar.
These collectible calendars celebrate MAD’s enduring legacy with reproductions of rare and classic covers from those early days. Produced on heavy, archival-quality 100% recycled paper with soy-based inks, it is a timeless visual tribute to the “Usual Gang of Idiots”. This is a true 16-month calendars that include perforated images that fit any 11"x14" frame. |
