Created by writer William Moulton Marston (under the pseudonym Charles Moulton) and artist Harry G. Peter, and introduced in All-Star Comics #8 (December 1941), Wonder Woman quickly took her place at the pinnacle of the DC Comics pantheon alongside Superman and Batman. Using her enhanced strength, defensive bracelets, invisible plane, and golden lasso – capable of making anyone caught by it tell the truth – and adopting the secret identity of Diana Prince, Wonder Woman assisted her adopted homeland of America in the war effort. Whether fighting alongside her costumed colleagues or battling solo, her star-spangled heroism continues to inspire generations of readers.
We managed to lasso this collection of Golden Age (and a few Silver) covers, to create a unique calendar for Wonder Woman fans of all ages. Great Hera!
